glocken museum 1 5 2020The GlockenStadtMuseum Apolda will be open again from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from May 1, 2020 and invites you to visit. Access is only permitted with a mouth-nose cover. A maximum of 20 people may stay in the building at the same time. The "Ethnomode" project group from the Apolda Integration Circle (FKI) has been sewing numerous mouth-to-nose covers in cooperation with the "Committed City" in recent weeks. These are now available to museum visitors if they have forgotten their own covering.
The special exhibition "Tracking Talents' - Follow Fashion" with the results of the knitting and textile workshops in 2018 and 2019 will be shown until August 30. On 20.09.2020, "GLANZstücke und SPITZENwerke", another textile special exhibition will move into the rooms of the GlockenStadtMuseum. TAT - Textile Art Thuringia is an active group of artists that has been present in Thuringia since the mid-1970s.
